What do you like about your job?
I enjoy the hands-on nature of my work as an Orthopedic SHO, particularly the opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives by restoring their mobility and improving their quality of life. A typical day as an Orthopaedic SHO starts with a morning handover, followed by ward rounds where I review patient’s progress and update management plans if needed. When in theater it is mostly spent in assisting in surgeries.
