This is a blended learning course covering the basic principles of safe and effective procedural sedation for the non-anaesthetist. A three-hour pre-course online module is completed prior to attending the course.
This course will help you to identify the most appropriate, safe and effective strategy to ensure the management of hypotensive and tachycardic patients reporting to emergency departments, and what to do if an anaesthetist is not available.
The course is delivered as a series of interactive discussion and didactic lectures, followed by a series of short practical workshops. Our presenters include specialists in emergency medicine, prehospital medicine, critical care and anaesthesia.
