Ultrasound Level 1: "Sign-off" - Deadline extended Open to Senior Emergency Medicine physicians

Credits: As this is an assessment, there are no CPD credits available.
Price: €600 (€150 non-refundable application fee)
Suitable for: Senior EM physicians who have completed a Level 1 Point Of Care ultrasound course and want supervised, hands-on practice or a chance to refresh the skills and to be assessed in all Level 1 (Core) competence areas (FAST, AAA, vascular access and ECHO in life support).

If you:
Have some formal specialist Emergency Medicine training done outside of Ireland and
Are looking to change your IMC registration from General to Specialist
You need (amongst other criteria) to complete an ultrasound sing-off assessment. Make sure to prepare your portfolio, have attended a Level 1 Point-of-Care (POC) Ultrasound course, and schedule a competency assessment to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in ultrasound imaging.
