We would like to make you aware that enrolments for the CPD Support Scheme 2020-2021 are now open. This programme is free of charge for NCHDs working in the HSE and, in order to avail of the free courses, all doctors should re-enrol for the scheme, even if they were enrolled last year.

This programme is free of charge for NCHDs working in the HSE and and will give you free access to over 92 courses, academic programmes and scientific meetings.

To ensure that you are not negatively impacted by COVID-19 restrictions we are broadening our offering this year to include a large online component, a regional component, multiday blended learning certificate programmes and the normal onsite technical programmes.

I am also delighted to advise you that RCSI’s will this year be including innovative part-time Postgraduate Diploma in Human Factors in Patient Safety in the offering. You can used your combined CPDSS funding and TSS funding to cover up to €2250 of the cost of this programme and the CPDSS team can discuss this with you directly

The cost of attending all the CPD-SS classes is covered for those who are registered for the scheme with RCSI or any of the participating training bodies up to 20 external credits or three days per annum, whichever is greatest.
