On reviewing your Professional Competence annual Statement of Participation our records indicate that you have recorded the required PCS requirements for the PCS Year 1^st May 2023 – 30^th April 2024 - 40 CPD credits and completed one clinical/practice audit and are therefore ON TARGET.   Please note this information is based on an automated report on a given date /time from your PCS portfolio).

It is important to be aware that, RCSI may be required to provide the Medical Council with the registration numbers and names of all registered Medical practitioners (RMPs) who have not met the minimum requirements in the year ending 30^th April  2024.

As it would appear from our report that you have met the minimum requirements, your name / IMC number will not be on this list going to the Medical Council in June 2024. 

We would advise you that we have not reviewed the activities which you have uploaded to your ePortfolio and have not verified your account.  If your portfolio was subject to a verification audit you will be required to provide evidence for the minimum requirements in terms of CPD credits accrued (total of 40 credits) and evidence of your clinical/practice Audit. Doctors for this verification audit will be selected before the end of June 2024.

If you have:

• uploaded (or have available) all the appropriate evidence to support your CPD credits for the completed PCS year (which ended 30 April 2024),

then it would be appropriate, when you complete the Annual Retention Form (ARF) with the Medical Council, to tick YES to statement 2 “I have achieved the annual minimum CPD requirements for the Scheme Year 2023/2024     [YES/NO] “

Please note that you must also re-enrol in PCS for the current year 2024-2025 and pay the appropriate fee before you complete the Annual retention of registration process with the Medical Council.

If you have been appointed to a Postgraduate Training Scheme commencing July 2024, please click here to complete the form to confirm that you are going on to a Training Programme.

If you were absent from practice for a period of three months or greater due to illness or maternity leave during the year ended 30/04/2024 and have not already notified us and had your statement annotated, please complete the declaration available here and we will annotate your Annual Statement of Participation.
