Reminder Re-Enrol on PCS 1st May 2025 - 30th April 2026

We would like to remind you to re-enrol on the RCSI Professional Competence Scheme for the period 1st May 2025 - 30th April 2026.  

 

Under the updated Medical Council Framework, all doctors are required to enrol on a Professional Competence Scheme within 60 days of the start of the PCS year.    This means the deadline was 29th June 2025.

 

You can still Re-Enrol and we strongly encourage you to complete your re-enrolment as soon as possible to ensure compliance.  

 

As previously communicated, we have moved to a new  Professional Competence Scheme Portal, developed to support the implementation of the New Framework for Professional Competence, effective from 1st May 2025.  

 

If it is your first time signing into the NEW  RCSI Portal, you need to Sign Up for an account.  Access the new PCS Portal HERE  When you click on Sign up Now, you will need to enter your Name and email details:

 

You will then need to follow the instructions on creating your password.   

 

 

If you have already signed up to the RCSI Portal, you will need to Sign In using your preferred email address.  

 

Click HERE to view a step-by-step ‘How to’ guide for signing up to the PCS portal. 

 

Once your account is activated, you will have full access to the PCS Portal.  Once logged in, you can familiarize yourself with the new layout and features available. 

 

Re-enrolment Instructions:

 

 

To re-enrol for 1st May 2025 – 30th April 2026, click on the Pay now button at the top of the screen.  You will need to confirm that your registration, personal, educational and work details are correct.

 

 

If you are no longer required to be enrolled on the RCSI Professional Competence Scheme,  you should inform us and we will no longer issue you with reminders.
