The Beaumont Multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Symposium is a unique, cross-specialty event open to all healthcare professionals. The aim is to highlight best practice in complex foot care through expert talks by various guest lectures from the pioneering centre at King's College Hospital London and update all stakeholders on current service delivery in Ireland.
Following the lecture series, there will be parallel small-group practical workshops in podiatry, orthopaedics and vascular surgery as well as an academic session with a prize for the best research presentations.
There will also be an exciting seminar on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Wound Healing hosted by OxyCare with international experts Dr Pasquale Longobardi and nurse specialist Klarida Hoxha that would be of interest to our wider surgical community.
