This course has been developed as a follow-on course to MS Word – An Introduction, with the objective of moving participants on to the next level of use of the application through a better understanding of overall document management. This course can benefit doctors with their day-to-day use of Microsoft Word as well as those using the application for writing research papers, clinical research etc. 

Learning outcomes

• Use of more efficient page and document management methods and tools
• Ability to manage page breaks, section breaks, alternate page numbering etc. in long documents such as reports
• Understanding when and how to use styles
• Knowledge of referencing options, including tables of contents, captions, tables of figures, footnotes and EndNote
