The programme includes an introduction to ultrasound guided nerve blocks, monitoring, consent and documentation of procedures, setting up a nerve block trolley, needle tracking techniques, lower limb blocks (fascia iliaca superior and inferior approach, femoral, popliteal and PENG), upper limb (axillary nerve block) and chest wall (fascial plane blocks, serratus anterior superficial and deep and erector spinae).
Suitable for: Interns, SHOs, Registrars and Consultants in Emergency Medicine
No pre-requisite level of ultrasound experience required; beginners are welcome!
High trainee to trainer ratio with a maximum of 25 spaces available.
