The EASC Emergency Abdominal Surgery Course aims to enhance the skills of the large international and national faculty who are at the coal face in emergency surgery. EASC curriculum focuses on the acute abdomen, in a multidisciplinary shared learning approach. It will enhance your ability on-duty as a surgeon, gastroenterologist or radiologist; either as a trainee or a specialist. The course is endorsed by many societies and is regularly updated with the latest advances in emergency surgery care.
With the widespread adoption of Quality initiatives in Irish healthcare it is imperative for all staff within healthcare organisations to have an understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools, techniques & methodologies, and what can be achieved by correct use and implementation. This organisation wide understanding, creates the shared vision required to deliver consistent quality & sustained improvements that will benefit all concerned.
This training session aims toempowers the RCSI community to challenge poor behaviours which have become normalised and bring change through the reinforcement of messages defining the boundaries of unacceptable behaviour.
This endoscopy workshop will have a pre-online offering covering endoscopic techniques, sedation, bowel preparation. There will be three post-online full day hands-on sessions in our simulation centre, where both virtual reality endoscopic simulators and bench task trainers will be used to practice doing gastroscopy and colonoscopy, on modules with different pathologies.
This course is designed for complete beginners and/or very new users of Microsoft Excel. It will provide the participants with the essential fundamental knowledge requires to begin using this spreadsheet application to both work with existing and create and save new Excel files.
This three day Programme, run over a series of 6 half days, provides a high level overview of how multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting can deliver quantifiable and sustained improvement in their service delivery. Our programmes focus on developing robust processes, enabling better patient flow while supporting the clinical team’s effectiveness.
If a course is FULL – it is recommended applying for the waiting list. Often doctors withdrawn from courses closer to the date.
If you would like to book and attend more than your FREE 3 full-day courses allowance, you will be required to pay an enrolment fee for the additional courses. However, this fee can be reimbursed via HSE’s Training Support Scheme. Further details can be found here.
