Save the Date - Charter Day April 2022
 

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, (RCSI) is among Ireland’s foremost health science institutions being one of its oldest Colleges (1784) and newest Universities (2019). As one of the four Surgical Royal Colleges, it has responsibility for training and professional development of surgeons in Ireland.

 

Charter Day is the Annual Commemoration of the granting of our Charter by King George III in 1784. The Charter event provides a unique opportunity for RCSI Fellows & Members along with their international colleagues to network and debate many aspects of the surgical profession.

 

Every year, RCSI celebrates a meeting to commemorate the Charter of 1784 and in doing so extends a warm welcome to Fellows, Members, Alumni, Faculty, Students, Staff and the broader healthcare community in Ireland and overseas.

 

The Charter Meeting will take place on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 April 2022. The meeting will consist of both hybrid and virtual sessions, subject to the public health guidelines in place at the time.
