The EASC Emergency Abdominal Surgery Course aims to enhance the skills of the large international and national faculty who are at the coal face in emergency surgery. EASC curriculum focuses on the acute abdomen, in a multidisciplinary shared learning approach. It will enhance your ability on-duty as a surgeon, gastroenterologist or radiologist; either as a trainee or a specialist. The course is endorsed by many societies and is regularly updated with the latest advances in emergency surgery care.
With the widespread adoption of Quality initiatives in Irish healthcare it is imperative for all staff within healthcare organisations to have an understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools, techniques & methodologies, and what can be achieved by correct use and implementation. This organisation wide understanding, creates the shared vision required to deliver consistent quality & sustained improvements that will benefit all concerned.

Professionally Managing Anti-bullying and Harassment in the Workplace

This course will explore the complex nature of workplace bullying and harassment and the adversely affect this has on the quality of patient/client care by undermining employee morale and can result in absenteeism, stress-related illnesses and higher turnover of staff.
An intense FRCS Basic Revision course aimed at covering key topics and conditions that are commonly encountered in the viva and clinical examination FRCS Basic SC. Sections of the FRCS (TR & Orth) exam. The course faculty has experience of running this course for the last six years successfully in RCSI teaching Hospitals, in the North East, as well as in RCSI.
If a course is FULL – it is recommended applying for the waiting list. Often doctors withdrawn from courses closer to the date.
If you would like to book and attend more than your FREE 3 full-day courses allowance, you will be required to pay an enrolment fee for the additional courses. However, this fee can be reimbursed via HSE’s Training Support Scheme. Further details can be found here.
