Professionally Managing Anti-bullying and Harassment in the Workplace

This course will explore the complex nature of workplace bullying and harassment and the adversely affect this has on the quality of patient/client care by undermining employee morale and can result in absenteeism, stress-related illnesses and higher turnover of staff.
An intense FRCS Basic Revision course aimed at covering key topics and conditions that are commonly encountered in the viva and clinical examination FRCS Basic SC. Sections of the FRCS (TR & Orth) exam. The course faculty has experience of running this course for the last six years successfully in RCSI teaching Hospitals, in the North East, as well as in RCSI.
The BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider Course is for medical, para-medical and allied healthcare professionals. The skills taught include adult and paediatric CPR including two rescuer scenarios, use of bag valve mask and barrier devices, management of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO), and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This training session aims to empowers the RCSI community to challenge poor behaviours which have become normalised and bring change through the reinforcement of messages defining the boundaries of unacceptable behaviour.
Endourology - "Interactive Master class in Stone Disease”

The course also explore the optimum ways you can win over the interview panel at that all-important interview. Part A concentrates on Curriculum Development, Part B concentrates on interview skills.
Critical decision making on a virtual ward round for Surgery

Considerable obstacles to learning exist in the surgical ward environment including the high volumes of patients, untimely surgical emergencies, shift working and ongoing increases in administrative tasks. Quality Improvement & Lean training is now becoming a pre-requisite for many healthcare professional and this is becoming increasingly important in Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Lean is a management model that was born in manufacturing and is now taking hold in a range of industries but particularly in Healthcare
