Professor Daragh Moneley, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Beaumont Hospital, has been appointed Surgical CPD Lead at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Professor Moneley will lead the delivery of RCSl's Professional Development Programme in Surgical Technical Skills and will assist the delivery and the initiative to improve quality of postgraduate programmes, examinations and skills assessment in Technical Skills. 

"I am excited  to join the CPD team in supporting and promoting Professional Development to  the Surgical NCHD Cohort. I hope that my background as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Beaumont Hospital for the past 18 years and previous roles in Surgical Education and Accreditation of Educational programmes with the Irish Medical Council will be of value to the CPD team in enhancing what is already a very successful CPD programme. I will strive to make them better by your continued support and feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises ongoing professional development.
