Millin 2025: What's in store for Surgical Researchers?
Friday, 14 November 2025

Theme: Shaping Future Surgical Research and Training

This year's Millin Meeting will focus on surgical research and training, with an eye to topical issues.

For Surgical Researchers of all stages, our highly popular competition for the RCSI National Surgical Research Medal will be of special interest. We will also have regional updates from the National Surgical Research Support Centre, surgical-research specific keynote lectures and lots of opportunities for networking.

One of the highlights of this year’s RCSI Millin Meeting is the attendance of key research support systems available in Ireland as exhibitors at this year’s upcoming event. Engaging with surgical/clinical trial exhibition stands are a great way for Surgical NCHDs, Trainees and Surgeons, to engage with key research stakeholders across Ireland in order to help get the information you need to set up your own trial.

Clinical research exhibitors are there to support and engage with you on any information you need in relation to embedding surgical research within your career and clinical practice.

Clinical research exhibitors in attendance include:
•    The RCSI National Surgical Research Support Centre
•    HRB Clinical Research Facilities and clinical trial units from across the country
•    Surgical research collaborative groups
•    Ethics and regulatory bodies
•    Clinical Trial Networks
•    Research-funding organisations

We would be delighted to see you down at this year's #RCSIMillin meeting.
