Midpoint enrolment for our CPD Support Scheme 2025/26 is now open for NCHD’s in Surgery and Emergency Medicine, and will close next week, on 31 January 2026.
Once enrolled on the CPD Support Scheme, NCHD's will receive a number of benefits including free access to the RCSI Surgical Logbook. The logbook has been specifically designed by RCSI to support Doctors during their surgical career. This service is free for NCHD’s enrolled on the CPD support scheme and completely voluntary to use
RCSI has also introduced the Affiliate Membership grade which is subsidised for NCHDs. This membership provides NCHDs with a range of supports to prepare them for the MRCS exams, it has a range of other benefits aimed at supporting and supplementing the personal, practical, academic and professional development of all surgical NCHDs.
