3 December 2020	Basic Life Support Provider Course	Classroom	The skills taught include adult and paediatric CPR including two rescuer scenarios, use of bag valve mask and barrier devices, management of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO), and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).	4.5	Register here

Just want to bring into your attention if you would like to book and attend more than 3 full day courses you will be required to pay an enrolment fee for the additional courses. Please note that the enrolment fee can be afterward recovered via HSE’s Training Support Scheme. Details here.

This week’s webinar will be a Panel discussion on the Neurosurgical management of trauma patients outside of major Neuro Centres lead by Mr Mohsen Javadpour is a Consultant Neurosurgeon Beaumont Hospital and Prof. Ken Mealy, Co-Lead of the National Clinical Programme for Surgery followed by a Q&A session.

AMR: Can we change a resistant culture?

As part of WHO Antimicrobial Awareness Week is a collaborative event coordinated by RCSI, Pfizer and AMR Ireland bringing experts together from across a range of healthcare and policy development backgrounds.

This event will take place from 7pm - 9pm next Thursday (19/11/2020).

We have an excellent line up of speakers including an introduction from our colleagues Prof. Hannah McGee and Panel Q&A chaired by Dr Fidelma Fitzpatrick. We will also be joined by Dame Sally Davies who received an RCSI honorary Doctorate Degree at the School of Medicine conferring ceremony last June for her contribution as the Chief Medical Officer for England and Chief Medical Advisor to the UK Government.

The Institute of Leadership (IOL) are running a series of webinars in collaboration with The National Clinical Leadership Centre for Nursing and Midwifery (NCLC) and Office of the Nursing and Midwifery Services Director (ONMSD).

The series will consist of nine pre-recorded webinars that commenced in September 2020 and will continue until February 2021. The aim of the series is to provide an opportunity for representatives from all nursing disciplines and midwifery services to present and share their clinical leadership experiences, during the pandemic.
