As we now approach the end of the Professional Competence Scheme year 2018 – 2019, we recommend that you update your ePortfolio to ensure that your CPD activity is uploaded for the current year. If you have not reached the required target at this point in time, we would recommend that you plan activities over the coming three months. Information recorded in your ePortfolio is used to generate your Annual Statement of Participation at the end of the year. The Statement of Participation will be generated in May 2019 and this will reflect what you have recorded on your ePortfolio. This Statement of Participation is the document that you will need to submit to the Medical Council if selected for their Audit.
You should now login to your PCS profile https://pcs.rcsi.ie/ and review your portfolio.
The annual PCS requirements are: 50 CPD credits across the following categories:
