New Professional Competence Scheme Portal - 1st May 2025

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the new and improved Professional Competence Scheme Portal, designed to support the implementation of the New Framework for Professional Competence, commencing 1st May 2025.  

 

We have created your PCS portal account. To activate this account, it is necessary for you to click on the Sign up Now button first on the login page.  Access the new PCS Portal HERE

 

When you click on Sign up Now, you will need to enter your Name and email details:

You will then need to follow the instructions on creating your password.

 

 

Click HERE to view a step-by-step ‘How to’ guide for signing up to the PCS portal. 

 

Once your account is activated, you will have full access to the PCS Portal.  Once logged in, you can familiarize yourself with the new layout and features available. 

 

Re-enrolment Instructions:

 

To re-enrol for 1st May 2025 – 30th April 2026, click on the Pay now button at the top of the screen.  You will need to confirm that your registration, personal, educational and work details are correct.

 

If you are a Fellow / Member of RCSI, you can claim a discount on your Professional Competence Scheme (PCS) fee by paying your Fellowship / Membership subscription before 1 July 2025. 

 

 

Important Note: 

 

Access to the old PCS portal is still available until 30th May 2025.  

You can continue to upload your CPD activity for the period 1st May 2024 - 30th April 2025 via the old portal using the link below:

 

Access the old PCS portal HERE and upload your CPD activity for 1st May 2024 – 30th April 2025.  

 

After this date, the old Portal will close to allow us time to migrate your records to the new PCS portal.  A  date will be announced in July when your historical records will be available in the New Portal.
