Training Course - Video Consultations

The HSE have notified all all Hospital Managers/CHO Leads in Ireland that "Attend Anywhere" is the recommended HSE telehealth platform. This is a a web-based video consultation platform that allows health care providers to communicate with patients securely.

This is a a web-based video consultation platform that allows health care providers to communicate with patients securely. The HSE are providing training on how to use the technology and you can visit their website to see the schedule and arrange to attend 
 
While almost everyone is familiar with using video communications likes Whatsapp(TM) or Facetime(TM) for everyday purposes, clinical consultations using video will be new to many healthcare providers and to their patients. Using this technology requires a new set of skills and adopting a systematic approach will make it much more effective for everyone. The HSE NHCP working with RCSI Surgical Affairs have developed a specific online training course, building on the recent training course in telephone consultations  to make the transition to video consultations as seamless and stress-free as possible. This course shows you how to apply the core skills of the Calgary-Cambridge Guide to video consultations provides a structured and patient-centered approach.
 
This Video Consultations course is for all healthcare practitioners, not just surgeons, is free to access and has been approved by RCSI for 3 CPD points and be accessed via msurgery
