As we now approach the end of the Professional Competence Scheme year 2023 – 2024, we recommend that you update your ePortfolio to ensure that your CPD activity is uploaded for the current year 1^st May 2023 – 30^th April 2024.   LOGIN to upload your CPD activity

You will be aware from previous circulations that the PCS requirements  for PCS Year 1^st May 2023 – 30^th April 2024 are as follows.

• All enrolled doctors are required to engage in and record a minimum of 40 CPD credits across ANY credit categories (external, internal, personal, research/teaching). CPD targets for each category will not apply for 2023/24.

AND

• Complete one clinical / practice audit

Doctors will need to confirm that they have met / not met these requirements when completing their annual Medical Council retention of registration in May/June 2024.

We wish to highlight that the PCS portal now reflects the above PCS interim requirements and therefore when you record the minimum requirement (40 cpd credits) and one clinical / practice Audit for this current PCS year, your portfolio will indicate that you are ON TARGET with interim requirements for this PCS year.
