The RCSI Continuous Professional Development Support Scheme (CPD-SS) enables doctors who are not engaged in training to achieve the minimum of 20 external CPD credits per annum in order to meet the requirements outlined by the Irish Medical Council regarding the maintenance of professional competence.

Doctors are legally obliged to maintain their professional competence by enrolling in a professional competence scheme and follow requirements set by the Medical Council.  The CPD-Support Scheme (CPD-SS) provides educational courses for non-consultant hospital doctors(NCHDs) and all information on enrolment / eligibility requirements are available here

Online enrolment for CPD-SS 2020-2021 will open on Monday, 13 July 2020 and will close on Wednesday 30 September 2020. You can apply for enrolment by completing the following form available here
