RCSI provides a Continuous Professional Development Support Scheme (CPD-SS) to assist doctors who are not engaged in a training scheme to satisfy the requirements of the Irish Medical Council.

Once enrolled in the scheme, eligible non-consultant hospital doctors (NCHDs) can avail of free access to a comprehensive suite of over 92 courses, academic programmes and scientific meetings.

Enrollment on the programme is free to NCHD’s working in public hospitals but you must be enrolled by Wednesday, 30 September 2020. 

To ensure that NCHD’s are not negatively impacted by COVID-19 restrictions we have broadened our offering by including a large online component, a regional component, multi-day blended learning certificate programmes and the normal onsite technical programmes.
