Please share with your network - Call out to consultants within all surgical specialities
I hope this email finds you well.
The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland is currently recruiting for clinical examiners within Ireland to exam in upcoming MRCS Part B OSCE examinations (Dublin, Ireland).
Under the Experience, knowledge and skills section within the person specification, Specialist Registrars who have recently completed a surgical training programme in Ireland or the UK (Post-CSCST) and hold an MRCS/FRCS will now be eligible to apply to become a clinical examiner for the MRCSI.
This change provides an additional option to the previous criteria that prospective clinical examiners needed to have two years in a substantive consultant post. We hope that this change encourages newly appointed consultants who have completed their surgical training in Ireland or UK to apply to be a MRCSI clinical examiner.
Prospective clinical examiners looking to apply need to complete the relevant application form below and send their completed application to courtofexaminers@rcsi.ie.
Please send any queries to courtofexaminers@rcsi.ie.
Best regards,
RCSI Court of Examiners Executive Committee
