Update on MRCS Part B Examinations - RCSI

Thank you for your interest in sitting the MRCS Part B Examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

 

The four Royal Colleges of Surgeons will be opening 2026 diets post-March 2026 soon whereby you will be notified in due course with application details. All the colleges are working together on an agreed date to open within the next two weeks.

 

Because you have expressed an interest in sitting the MRCS Part B with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, we will ensure that you are the first to know when the diets from March 2026 open and we will keep in touch with you in the coming days.

 

To help you prepare for the Part B examinations, we are opening access to you to a free MRCS Part B Communications Preparation suite of videos to help you prepare for the various stations but particularly the communications skills stations. Communications skills is a very important element of the examination and these videos focus in on the elements where candidates have had difficulty in the past.
