The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland are pleased to announce that we will run our MRCS Part B Preparation course on 21 February 2023 in Cairo, Egypt.
During this one-day course, candidates will cover the mechanics of the MRCS Part B examination, key communications skills and other key components of the MRCS Part B examination.
Please note, the fee for this course is €245 in total. Due to international transaction issues in Egypt, we require candidates to pay €45 to book a place in this course and €200 on the day which can be accepted via Cash or Card.

- Candidates must arrive at the appointed registration time, latecomers may not be admitted
- Candidates must bring proof of identity for their completion certificate. Proof of identity must be an official document e.g. passport or driver’s license.
- The course will last approximately 7.5 hours, refreshments and lunch will be provided for all attendees
- All those who attend the course will be given 1 one-year Affiliate Membership of RCSI which includes a range of career and MRCS exam preparation resources
Visa
Before you travel to Cairo, please check your visa requirements and make sure you have a valid visa if needed, or if your passport needs to be valid for a minimum period. RCSI are not in a position to assist with visa requirements but can issue a letter to support an application if required.

Cancellations for Paid Bookings
- Cancellations made within 14 days of course date: Please be aware that cancellations within 10 days of the course date are not eligible for a refund.
- Cancellations made in the time period more than 14 days from the date of the course: Please note that a 10% cancellation fee applies.
