The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland is pleased to announce the launch of its established, hands-on Basic Surgical Skills Course in India, delivered by experienced surgical faculty.
Designed to support doctors at an early stage of their surgical careers, the RCSI Basic Surgical Skills Course covers key surgical knowledge and practical skills in open and laparoscopic surgery. Participants will work in small-group practical workstations, developing basic surgical skills and techniques through hands-on practice, demonstration and review.
Taking place at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry, this immersive course introduces junior doctors interested in a career in surgery to safe surgical practice within a controlled workshop environment. The course aims to teach, assess and certify the ability to perform fundamental surgical techniques safely.
