Reminder - Submit before Friday, 30 January 2026

Dear Surgical Society President,

We hope you're keeping well.

Each year, we run the RCSI National Surgical Skills Competition for Undergraduate medical students across Ireland (including NI). This year the event is due to take place on Saturday, 7 February 2026.

8 students from each of the 8 Medical Schools compete for the National Surgical Skills Trophy. Furthermore, we will have prizes for: 

• 1^st  place €200
• 2^nd place €100
• 3^rd place €50

If you would like your Medical School to participate you will need to nominate 8 students from within the three final years of school. Nominations will need to be submitted here by 30 January 2026 latest.

Please make sure you read the rules and regulations of the competition before submitting your nominees.
