The AIMS Summit is a platform that aims to foster transatlantic collaboration between medical professionals, leaders, and innovators from the United States and Ireland. This year it has expanded the AIMS Summit to three key components: AIMS, AIMS PM, and AIMS Connect.
AIMS involves presentations, fireside talks, panel discussions, and audience forums
AIMS PM Involves world leaders in business, innovation and wellness
AIMS Connect involves a workshop on innovation and AI taking place in Microsoft HQ in Leopardstown.
The Aims summit will consist of two days: AIMS Summit (Thursday, 22 August 2024, RCSI) and Aims Connect (Friday, 23 August 2024, Microsoft Campus).
The Aims Summit will cover the 4 pillars of:
Academic collaboration between the US and Ireland
Innovation. This year there will be two sessions. A. Innovating a better health system for all. B. AI.
Mentorship. Leadership with an emphasis on wellness
Sport. Lessons learned in sport, leadership, teamwork and resilience
Aims Connect: will be based on an innovation workshop with 3 components:
AI. Microsoft has a pioneering programme introducing people to the use of AI developing ideas and innovation.
Lessons learned in the innovation journey from idea to bedside.
