I want to extend a warm welcome to all our new surgical trainees joining us for the first time in July 2024.
Congratulations on behalf of all of the team at RCSI including your Surgical Trainers many of whom you will be meeting for the first time.
I want you to know that as trainees you are valued members of the training community and we are all here to support you in your training journey.
The next few years should be exciting but at times may be challenging, and it is important that you are aware that the College has put a range of structures in place focussed on supporting you as you progress through this important phase of your career.
I hope to meet as many of you as possible over the next few months and I am looking forward to hearing about your accomplishments.
